# Controlled Economy

## Global Adjustment to Item Selling Prices

As part of our ongoing effort to maintain a healthy and sustainable in-game economy, the selling price of **ALL items available** in the game has been globally reduced by **25%** from their original base value.

This means that whenever a player sells an item to an NPC, the zeny received will now be 75% of what it used to be. This change was introduced to slow down the rate at which zeny is generated through item farming and selling, which in the long term can lead to inflation and imbalance in the server's economy.

By reducing the zeny output from NPC sales, we aim to encourage more meaningful economic activity among players such as player-to-player trading, resource management, and proper market pricing.

This adjustment also helps prevent abuse where players would rely heavily on high-value item drops to generate massive amounts of zeny with minimal effort. Instead, the focus shifts towards more interactive and strategic gameplay.

We believe that this change will contribute positively to the long-term health of the server's economy and provide a more balanced experience for all players.
